Pittsburgh Penguins
Tonight is my last night in Christiansburg, VA and I’ll head for the Roanoke airport tomorrow after work. There are some storms headed this way for tomorrow and I hope the storms don’t have any ill affects on the airports tomorrow night. I’m hoping for an “On Time” departure tomorrow at 8:15 PM and then I’ll hope for an “On Time” departure from Charlotte, NC around 10:00 PM. If I’m lucky I’ll be home around 12:30 am. It’ll be nice to get home on a “Thursday night” again.
It sounds like DH and I may be going to a Penguin hockey game Saturday night. Whoo Hoo! I haven’t been to a Pro Hockey game, or any hockey game for that matter, for a very long time. I think the last one I went to was the night that the clutch on the 1972 Pinto smelled like it was burning out. Luckily the clutch held out until we got rid of the car sometime in the 1980′s. I won’t know if we’re really going until Friday evening. (crossing fingers)
DH has all of the sticky tiles off of the dinning room floor. We’ll probably pick up the engineered hardwood sometime on Saturday. It should look much better in there when it’s done.
Hmm, on the news they just showed the first 5 inch slug ever found in the United States. YUCK!

Yay! I hope you get the tickets. The Mellon Arena is one block from where I work, and I’ve been in the place once for a total of 15 minutes.
I hope the engineered works out well. My only complaint about it is that the dogs’ nails are tough on ours. Because of that, I’d like to replace the kitchen floor with ceramic eventually. It’s an 8×8 room, so it should take about two hours
